Services

Our main service takes place at 10:00am each Sunday with a Sunday School for younger members held in the second part of the service.

Most weeks we have a traditional Methodist service with a monthly Communion Service in which all are welcome to participate.

On the first Sunday of the month our 10.00am service alternates between Cafe Worship and ‘Something Different Sunday’:

Cafe Worship includes breakfast served in the church from 9:30am, with informal discussion in place of a formal sermon. ‘Something Different Sunday’ may include a visiting speaker, alternative communion or other expressions of worship.

Also on the first Sunday of the month at 7pm we hold an ecumenical contemporary worship service called ‘Fusebox’ with a worship band, prayers and informal discussion on a theme.

On the third Sunday of the month at 3pm we hold an afternoon tea service, tea and cake are served at 3pm followed by a short service of hymns, prayers and reflection at 4pm.

All services are accompanied by our resident musicians including keyboard and guitars, the organ or a praise band.

Informal fellowship continues after services with refreshments served in the Wesley Rooms.

We are also members of Churches Together in Stroud, taking part in regular events and services across the district.
