Super Soup and Carols

There’s no better way to start the Christmas Season than with a hot bowl of homemade soup and some heartfelt Carol singing. We had a lovely afternoon getting in the Festive Spirit.

Final Harvest of 2018

Intrepid volunteers braved the wind (and snow!) to harvest the last of this year’s produce from the church allotment. All off to Marah.

Silver Eco Church Award!

Thanks to some amazing work by members of our Congregation we have been awarded a Silver Eco Church award. Here is Elaine receiving our certificate from local Green Councillor Rachel Smith!  

Marah Makes A Meal of It

Produce from the Church’s community allotment went to Homeless Charity Marah where they enjoyed Salad and Apply Crumble!

More tea? Vintage Afternoon Tea is a hit

To celebrate summer we hosted a vintage afternoon tea in the Wesley rooms with Cake, Scones and plenty of tea!  

Bumper Tomato Crop on it’s way

The Sun keeps shining and the tomatoes on the allotment keep growing! Looking forward to seeing these turn red later in the year. Tasty!

Photobooth at the Family Fun Day

Volunteers from Stroud Methodist church helped run a photo booth at the free family fun day in Stratford Park. the Street Pastors even got involved! Sharing this year’s theme of I am Hopeful  

Family Fun Day 2016

Every year Ignition Gloucestershire and The Churches Together in Stroud get together for a big ‘Fun Day’ in Stratford park. The Churches Gift To Stroud including lots of craft, games, bouncy castles and live music as well as the ‘Xperience’ Prayer tent. This year’s theme was ‘I am Loved’ and volunteers from Stroud Methodist church joined in the fun with 2 crafts. Children started by decorating and drawing a face on a person for our big picture (see below) showing that God Loves Everyone! Secondly they made hearts to take away with them with the words ‘Jesus Loves Me’ It was a great

Great Goodwill Evening

Second String and members of both, our Congregation and visitors from Holy Trinity took to the streets of Stroud outside the Subscription rooms to raise funds for Action for Children and we made over £40, well done everyone, we even made it in the paper! Here are a couple of photos:
